I remember reading this as a child. I couldn't remember what it was about all these years later, but of course the character's long name sticks with you. I saw the cover and was immediately drawn to it. "Could it be? Is this book the reason I've been saying Tikki Tikki Tembo all these years?" A cute little story, and a brief exposure to the Historical Fiction genre.
