Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

eWallet

What is eWallet

The eWallet is a digital account created by parents or guardians to prepay for a student’s purchases at an in-school Ignatius Book Fair or online at Ignatius Book Fair Parents/Teacher Stores.

To use an eWallet, you must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United States. Only parents or legal guardians may register and fund an eWallet, and funding must be done via a valid credit or debit card.
The minimum deposit to open or fund an eWallet is $10. Purchases can be made in set denominations of $10, $20, $25, or $50. Funds are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may only be used by the designated student.

eWallet funds may be spent at the Fair, and any unused funds can be used for online purchases. Unused balances may not be returned; please refer to the most current policy regarding expiration or minimum balance.
Multiple contributors are allowed to fund a single eWallet, and all contributions are visible through your Ignatius Book Fair account. Each student may have one unique eWallet per Fair.
The eWallet service is provided “as is” with no warranties, and liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law. By using the eWallet, you agree to waive class action claims. All disputes are governed by New York law and must be brought in New York County courts. No jury trials or class-wide claims are permitted.
These terms incorporate the Ignatius Book Fair standard Privacy Policy. Ignatius Book Fair may amend these terms at any time, and continued use of the eWallet constitutes acceptance of any changes.
You are responsible for securing access to your eWallet. Ignatius Book Fair may suspend activity if fraud is suspected. By participating, you agree to indemnify and hold Ignatius Book Fair harmless from any related claims.

Liability & Legal Provisions

Ignatius Book Fair provides the service “as is” with no warranties and limits its liability to the fullest extent allowed by law.

In the event of any dispute between the parties, the parties agree to waive any action, including but not limited to a jury trial, in local, state or federal court in favor of mediation and binding arbitration conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association applying Florida law. The customer also waives the right to any class action status.

Privacy & Modifications

Terms incorporate Ignatius Book Fair standard Privacy Policy.

Ignatius Book Fair may amend terms at any time—continued use implies acceptance.

Security & Fraud

You’re responsible for securing access to your eWallet. Ignatius Book Fair may suspend activity if fraud is suspected. 

Other Legal Stuff

You agree to indemnify and hold Ignatius Book Fair harmless from any related claims except those claims arising from the gross negligence of Ignatius Book Fair. 

Ave Dollars

What Are AVE Dollars?

A digital rewards currency schools earn from hosting in-person or virtual Book Fairs. They can be redeemed for books.

How Much Do You Earn?

    • $0–5,999 20% back in AVE$ or 10% Cashback
    • $6,000 and up receive 40% AVE$ or 20% Cashback
    • All online sales earn 30% AVE$, No Cashback option

Expiration & Usage

  • AVE$ expire as follows:
    • Earned $ Jan 1 – Jun 30: Expire Dec 31
    • Earned $ July 1 – Dec 31: Expire June 30
  • For expired rewards, what remains is removed—no reissues.

Where You Can Spend Them

Redeemable:

  • At end of your in‑school Book Fair
  • Online using your AVE admin account

Redeeming

Once AVE$ are assigned to your online admin account, they cannot be changed to cash.

AVE$ earned from online sales cannot be changed to cash.

The award of AVE Dollars creates no rights for the customer or obligations for Ignatius Book Fair beyond what is reflected above.
